Adriana is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 27 years’ clinical and managerial experience. Through clinical practice and active engagement in continued professional development she has developed my skills as a specialist practitioner within the area of neurological rehabilitation and complex case management.

Adriana offers a diverse set of clinical skills, particularly in the areas of brain injury and Neurological rehabilitation. This includes skills in neuro splinting, upper limb management, cognitive rehabilitation therapy, functional rehabilitation, transitional living rehabilitation and discharge planning, fatigue management, condition management and psychological adjustment, specialist equipment and environmental assessment and complex case management.

Alongside this Adriana has also gained 20 years of experience, working as an independent practitioner and has acquired skills and experience of being self-employed in the private sector. This includes providing and developing services within specialist private neurological care and rehabilitation units speclialising in brain injury and long-term management of a range of complex neurological conditions. She also has experience in providing Occupational Therapy intervention on a consultancy basis as a self-employed practitioner for case management services and OT consultancy services.

Keen to progress and develop, alongside her Therapy work, Adriana has also pursued a career in Complex Case management and is enjoying the challenges and opportunities this has provided.

Both as a case manager and as an Occupational Therapist, Adriana is committed and motivated to provide a high standard of intervention, ensuring a client centered approach to meet the challenges of a complex caseload. She is actively engaging in continued professional development and reflective practice. Adriana enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service development and providing supervision and training to others.
