Christine specialises in working with clients with complex trauma and orthopaedic injuries, spinal injuries, brain injury, amputations and upper limb injuries. She works as a case manager to produce immediate needs assessments and provide case management for her clients following traumatic, work related and clinical negligence injuries.

Christine qualified as an Occupational Therapist at the Auckland Institute of Technology, New Zealand in 1998. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working within multiple specialisms in both acute and community care environments. She has extensive experience of treating adolescents and adults with complex physical conditions.

Christine has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She has highly efficient skills when liaising with various disciplines, analysing services and the provision of, and most importantly, managing people and their needs.

Christine has worked as a case manager since 2013. She has worked in a diverse range of care environments, and regularly deals with clients who have experienced lower limb amputations and orthopaedic injuries as a result of accidents or failed surgery and who also require complex care packages to maintain their independence. She works with clients to analyse ability and daily activities, provide recommendations and provide support with rehabilitative solutions.

Christine also works with clients who are often coming to terms with a new-found disability and dealing with ongoing chronic pain and supporting individuals who have psychological needs as a result of their injury/disability.

Christine has a good working knowledge of the litigation process through her work as both an Expert Witness and a Case Manager, providing assessments and reports for the Court, attending experts’ meetings and pre-trial conferences. This knowledge assists her to manage client expectations realistically.
