I am a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 25 years clinical and managerial experience. Through clinical practice and active engagement in continued professional development I have developed my skills as a specialist practitioner within the area of neurological rehabilitation and complex case management. I offer a diverse set of skills, this includes the areas of neuro splinting, upper limb management, cognitive rehabilitation therapy, functional rehabilitation, transitional living rehabilitation and discharge planning, fatigue management, condition management, specialist equipment assessment/provision and environmental assessment.

I have an extensive range of clinical experience within a variety of settings, both within the NHS and as a private practitioner. I worked in the NHS for 21 years, before leaving in 2019. My last NHS role was working as a Senior Occupational Therapist within a community rehabilitation setting, specialising in the provision of community Neuro rehabilitation and long-term condition management.

Alongside this I also have worked as a private practitioner for the last 17 years and as such I have acquired skills and experience of being self-employed in the private sector. I have been providing and developing services within a specialist neurological care centre, speclialising in brain injury and long-term management of a range of neurological conditions. I also have experience in providing Occupational Therapy intervention on a consultancy basis as a self-employed practitioner for case management services and OT consultancy services.

I am committed and motivated to provide a high standard of therapeutic intervention, ensuring a client centred approach to meet the challenges of a complex caseload. I actively engage in continued professional development and reflective practice. I enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service development and providing supervision and training to others.
