Kerry has a wide and varied case load, providing case management for both children and adults. She supports clients who have brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex trauma injuries and mental health conditions by assessing their functional performance and goal setting.

Kerry has worked as a Case Manager since 2012 and she demonstrates a caring and supportive approach, helping families to navigate through the services they may need. She develops enduring relationships with her clients, their families and the professionals supporting them. She works sensitively to build packages of care that meet both the needs and the best interests of her clients.

Kerry’s work centres on thorough and accurate assessment of a client’s individual function; identifying goals that are realistic and achievable, commissioning and coordinating services to meet assessed needs.

Kerry qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1998 and has over 20 years’ experience working in physical and mental health services. She has worked across acute in-patient, rehabilitation and community settings and has a clear understanding of a client’s transition through each service.

Kerry has worked in Australia providing in-patient and outreach community occupational therapy services to children and adults. She returned to the UK and worked for social services specialising in major and minor housing adaptations. She also set up and led a rapid response service in a London hospital, providing immediate interventions for clients with critical needs.

Kerry has a good working knowledge of the litigation process through her work as both an Expert Witness and Case Manager, providing assessments and reports for the Court, attending experts’ meetings and pre-trial conferences. This knowledge assists her to manage her clients’ expectations realistically.
