Over her 27 years’ of working as an occupational therapist, Pippa has specialised in the assessment and treatment of clients with complex needs following an acquired brain injury. She has a particular interest in cognitive and behavioural difficulties, working with highly challenging clients and demanding situations.

Pippa has worked as a case manager since 2011 and has supported numerous clients and families from the acute stages of injury right through to post settlement of legal cases. This first-hand experience has given her a thorough awareness of the many different stages, processes, and services that clients have to go through, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the litigation procedure.

Pippa is honest and approachable with her clients and their families, being aware of the need for ongoing communication and day-to-day consistency at what can be a traumatic time in their lives.

Pippa is able to grasp an individual’s goals and work in a flexible way to achieve improved outcomes. She often looks for new and innovative methods to educate her clients in a way they’ll understand, with the aim to engage them in their rehabilitation journey fully.

Prior to becoming a case manager Pippa worked in several Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Centres. Here she managed the reintegration of clients back into the community and vocational roles. She also managed teams of therapists and support staff.

Pippa’s long-term experience as an OT means she is an incredibly resourceful case manager, utilising her comprehensive knowledge of statutory and private services.
