Sarah is a Registered Nurse who specialises in providing case management for clients who have experienced spinal cord injury. Her expertise in spinal cord injuries makes her one of the UK’s leading Spinal Cord Injury Case Managers.

Sarah has extensive knowledge and experience of setting up and managing complex rehabilitation plans, supporting clients and their families through their rehabilitation to ensure they receive the services that they are entitled to and achieve their maximum level of independence and function.

Sarah organises, co-ordinates and manages complex homecare packages and is flexible and adaptable to meet the individual needs of her clients to ensure that they receive the right level of support in an appropriate environment.

Sarah has great communication skills and is very person-centred. She develops enduring relationships with her clients, their families, carers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcome. Sarah is sensitive to the needs of her clients and their families as they adjust to their life-changing injuries.

Sarah’s work centres on thorough and accurate assessment of a client’s individual function; identifying goals that are realistic and achievable, commissioning and co-ordinating services to meet those assessed needs.

She has worked in a wide range of clinical environments, including urodynamics and pressure clinics, working for the NHS and in private care settings.

She worked with the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre for over 12 years. During this time, she gained a certificate in Nursing Patients with Spinal Cord Lesions and also a qualification in Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice. In addition, Sarah regularly worked on the Intensive Care Unit, maintaining her skills in ventilation and high dependency care.
